Product Description
Switchboard mats are non-conductive mats designed for use in high voltage areas. M+A Matting Corrugated Switchboard mats are designed to protect workers from electrical shock by insulating against high voltage.
New SOLAS regulation requests that “where necessary nenonconducting mats or gratings shall be provided at the front and rear of the switchboard” in Chapter ll Part D” Electricalinstallations”of SOLAS consolidated edition 2011.
Cleaning instructions:
Switchboard mats can be cleaned by scrubbing with a deck brush (when needed) using detergent with a neutral pH, and rinsed with a hose or pressure washer. Mats should be laid flat or hung to dry.
Application
It is mainly used in the distribution room on the ship for laying the ground of the distribution facility to play an insulating effect.
